A ready-to-use alternative: Micro servo decoder

The Sand-Ei decoder can control exactly 1 servo. The actions can be triggered by 2 buttons (and thus also by analog train drivers) or by digital commands.
The design was deliberately kept narrow. As a result, the board should fit into the Fremo signal shaft.
In version V2.0, the servo connection was implemented using a "JST connector", which is installed in many mini-servos (especially the linear servos from Spektrum).

This kit contains SMD components. However, soldering SMD components is much easier than expected ( 'Der richtige Umgang mit SMD' (Source: ELVjournal, German language)). You can also purchase this kit with partially preinstalled SMD components (see 'Available Options' below).

Construction manual, schematics and PCB layouts are delivered on a CD-ROM, including firmware (if applicable) and a great deal of additional information.
