This charging circuit is used to connect 16V capacitors to decoders or locomotives with a buffer storage connection. The slow running behavior of digitally operated locomotives is significantly improved. The capacitors are protected against overvoltage by a voltage limiter. The circuit board can be operated up to a track voltage of 20 volts.
Thanks to an integrated choke, the decoder may be programmed without having to electrically disconnect the buffer. Sound files can also be transferred to the sound decoder without problems.
The charging circuit can be fitted or shortened according to the installation space. For this purpose the board can be separated by means of a suitable tool on the two drill rows.
