A ready-to-use alternative: Dietz turntable control DDS-LR

The turntable decoder system DSD2010 offers a wide range of possibilities. The system comprises a plurality of circuit boards that are connected as needed. It can be used both in a digital (Central station or PC) and analog controlled model railroad.
The motor board is mounted below the platform and is compatible with every Fleischmann brand turntable (00, TT, N). The tasks of this PCB are as follows::

Communication with motor board (main PCB)
Motor control, load control
Control of the light signals (Soft transition to red with dark phase during stage movement)
Control of switchable house lighting
Evaluation of feedback contacts for positioning a locomotive on the stage (especially necessary in automatic mode using a control software)
Automatic adjustment of the stage via a Hall sensor by defining the position NULL
SUSI interface for sound module
Flashing light output (active while platform is moving)

For each turntable, you basically need a central board ("pit") and a motor board ("platform"). - Track signals are not included in the kit.

This kit contains SMD components. However, soldering SMD components is much easier than expected ( 'Der richtige Umgang mit SMD' (Source: ELVjournal, German language)). You can also purchase this kit with partially preinstalled SMD components (see 'Available Options' below).

Construction manual, schematics and PCB layouts are delivered on a CD-ROM, including firmware (if applicable) and a great deal of additional information.
