• In order to program the microprocessor, using the built-in ISP interface is recommended. Therefore the basic kit version does not contain any components for the PonyProg port (this works only in conjunction with a PC serial interface). External programming adapters for RS232 and USB can be found in the category ' Devices, Tools'.
• The indicated difficulty relates to the kit including the USB interface. Without this interface, the difficulty level corresponds to "easy" (i.e. level 2).
• The USB driver installation under Windows 10 may cause problems. Using an earlier operating system version (Windows XP, Windows 7) is strongly recommended.

This kit contains SMD components. However, soldering SMD components is much easier than expected ( 'Der richtige Umgang mit SMD' (Source: ELVjournal, German language)). You can also purchase this kit with partially preinstalled SMD components (see 'Available Options' below).

Construction manual, schematics and PCB layouts are delivered on a CD-ROM, including firmware (if applicable) and a great deal of additional information.
